Cons: Customer service follow-up can be improved.

Summary: After switching from my previous provider and supposedly confirming 3 times, I finally tried to make an international long distance call and found out that I had not been switched, I was somehow still using my original provider. Customer Service via e-mail is very responsive, but when I called Pioneer's Customer Service and left a message, they never called back or sent an e-mail. I'm still waiting for a callback.

Cons: None to date.

Summary: Verizon with long distance was too expensive.
I would like to find a cheaper local phone carrier, than Verizon. Pioneer has been a great find and I recommend one consider it.

Summary: I have only good words to use for this service. No problems with any calls. I have not had any need to contact customer service, but I am sure that it will be handled well. Receive my charges via email and click the link to review my bill. I highly recommend this provider.

Cons: I wish it covered those pesky calls that are within a 13 mile radius of my home the phone company still picks up.

Summary: I like not having a monthly fee especially since I may not make a long distance call for months on my land line at home. I use the free long distance with my cell and I like saving the $3 a month I was getting charged by my previous long distance company.

Summary: Pioneer 3.25 TalkCents has delivered everything it promised. Good quality, good service, great attention to customer satisfaction. Highly recommended. This company is a good value. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Cons: They double-billed me for one international call. Luckily I noticed - they were good about giving me the credit. So no harm done eventually.
Also, they charge you $10 up front and then adjust it against your future bills. I don't like that.
Also, they don't pay the fees you incur with the local phone company to switch long distance.

Summary: No monthly fees (with no paper billing) - that's the main reason I signed up.

Cons: Does not work, and I get no response to my e-mail.

Summary: Does not work. Was charged l.d. $5 connection fee three times, had a long talk with a Pioneer rep to have fee removed, and now when I make a long diatance call, I get a message that I do not have any l.d. carrier. But the latest Verizon bill has another $5 fee inlcuded. Verizon claims that I am connceted to Global Crossing, which must be another name for Pioneer. Pioneer did not respond to my e-mail.

Cons: Have to use a credit card for the automatic payment.

Summary: The sdervice is good, the switchover to them was easy. The price is great. Automatic payment is a nice convenience.
