Pros: Fast, Easy and friendly folks

Cons: Have not seen anything negative about this company

Summary: Nice people, friendly customer service and I see nothing different from my long distance except a very small bill. I had unlimited long distance for $29.99 a month and really never used the basic amount. Now I pay 1/3 of what I paid the other folks and only pay for what I use not for what I might use. Just love it and so will you!

Pros: Everything works well, calls made with no problems and invoice is clear. They also make themselves available via email or telephone.

Cons: We had trouble and feet dragging getting ATT to unfreeze our acct.

Summary: Since we rarely use our land-line for long distance, we wanted a pay-by-the-minute program, not the $5/month charged by AT&T. The service and cost are just what we were looking for.

Pros: Cheapest phone service I've ever had, easy billing

Summary: I was starting to make more long distance phone calls for work from my home office, and the 5 cents a minute plan we had was too much. It was 5 cents even if you were only on the phone for a few seconds. That's one of the things I love about the ECG Easy 2.5 plan. First, its 2.5 cents a minute, but they charge in quarter of a minute, so if your call is a short one, they don't charge you for the whole minute. Billing with this plan is through email, where they send you a link to view your bill, and my payment is automatically charged to my credit card. You could use a debit card, too. No mail or stamps to worry about, no muss, no fuss. I haven't had any problems at all, so can't rate Customer Service, and I don't make International calls, so can't rate that either.

Pros: Least expensive for out of state calls.

Cons: Higher rates for in state calls, but they don't charge by the minute.

Summary: Even my "after hours" emergency service calls are responded to within minutes. Always couteous and helpful. Couldn't be happier.

Summary: I switched to ECG in order to avoid the monthly long distance service provider fee I was paying before ($6.95/mo). I have been quite satisfied in the few months I have been using ECG.

Cons: 60c a month "regulatory recovery fee", even when no calls.

Summary: We rarely use any land line long distance, so wanted a service with a low monthly charge (together with reasonable per minute rates.) This fits the bill!
