PNG Call To Connect Mid User Review
![]() Thanks PNG!Overall Rating: By: Nuria Weathers on Thursday, January 12, 2006From: Katy, TX (United States) Experience: 4 Months Pros: Quality service at a reasonable price. HIghly professional and friendly customer service staff. Easy to read and understand monthly statements.Cons: N/ASummary: I have recommended PNG and will do so again in the future. Since subscibing to PNG about four months ago, my experience has been a positive one. PNG's service is reliable, dependable,of excellent quality and very reasonably priced. My family (which includes 4 teens) and I have been very pleased with the caller ID, call waiting, call waiting ID, and long distance. It helps us keep close touch with other family members on the East Coast, West Coast and even Alaska. It proved essential to our family during hurricane Wilma 2005. PNG helped us to keep constant communication with my parents in South Florida. I was even able to speak with my Mother and Father on the phone and keep them calm during the actual hurricane and throughout some of the most terrifying moments of the storm. Thanks PNG for providing such a valuable service - We will always be grateful! 9 out of 18 people found this review helpful
VERY Unhappy customer switched back to BST!Overall Rating: By: Paula Smith on Tuesday, May 24, 2005From: Oviedo, FL (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: I THOUGHT this plan would cost me less. It was supposed to include SOME long distance in the package plan; my 1st bill charged me for the ONE call I did make, & Customer Service was of no help at all.Cons: See above. The plan I signed up for was not the plan I was charged for. When I called to straighten this out, the CSR told me my plan did NOT include any free long distance & wouldn't do anything to help me. But I KNOW ehat I signed up for; I read the details CAREFULLY before I switched. Now I am so disgusted with this company, I switched back my service.Summary: The worst decision I ever made with regard to my telephone service. The plan cost me more than I was originally quoted, customer service couldn't decide whether the charges were correct or not & did nothing to resolve the issue. I STILL haven't paid their bill because I am disputing their charges & I will DEFINITELY NOT recommend their service!! 15 out of 24 people found this review helpful

Caller ID attachment for my computer does not pick up their signal Accounting is slow to update their on-line payment information. Long wait on customer service line (wanted info not on the web site)Summary: Was not what I expected. Much more expensive. 10 out of 22 people found this review helpful
Rates are only the Start. . .Overall Rating: By: Sioux Saloka on Tuesday, March 01, 2005From: NEW YORK CITY, (United States) Summary: I was extremely impressed with the service I received when I wanted to set up my new telephone carrier account through PhoneDog. P-Dog gave excellent service and I was up and running with PowerNet within 24 hours. I chose a PowerNet plan that had a decent inital "rate," however, it is extremely important to understand the bottom line of ALL carrier plan rates - which is, they are only a base upon which your phone bill piles on all those taxes and service fees. Add a few LD calls and your bill is DOUBLE the package "rate" you signed up for. Given these additional taxes and fees, the plan rates don't seem to be such a bargain. I also think PowerNet might be able to do a little better on their domestic LD rates. But the service has been fine - I've had no occasion to use their customer services to date. >Sioux Saloka 14 out of 25 people found this review helpful
CostOverall Rating: By: Philip Brainard on Friday, February 18, 2005From: Aberdeen MD, (United States) Summary: Other than consolidating two bills into one, you have not save me any money as I originally expected. All your add on extra taxes and access fees, which were not explained up front, drove the $29.95 bill back up to my old Verizon bill. I am look for other service providers. 15 out of 23 people found this review helpful
