Okay if you don't need customer service

Cons: I tried to change my service plan in August and have called 4 times and they still haven't resolved. They have charged over 225.00 in error and refuse to give me a statement of MY calls they are charging me for. Every time I call I have to wait at least 10 minutes on hold.

Summary: I am switching my service ASAP

Summary: This was a no brainer, we save about $15/month and received Caller ID for free as part of the package. Should have done it a year ago.

Cons: They have hidden non-governmental fees. They have very limited service hours.

Summary: When I received my first bill I expected it to be about 10.00 less than my previous phone company, based on their posted rates and taxes. It was about 10.00 more than my old company, due to non governmental fees, that my old company did not charge for. Also if I have a problem with my phone on Friday night, I can't even report it until Monday morning. They advertise Saturday service, but when I called, I was informed ( By a recorded message)that I would have to wait until Monday to contact them.

Dull-tel instead of Cleartel

Cons: There is nothing clear about cleartel when it comes to transfering service...I moved 3 miles from one location to my new location and it took forever to get hooked up...customer service was clueless a week later on the status of my order. My number had to be changed and no one called to give me the new number, finally, I was told it was up to me to ask otherwise I would not know.

Summary: Bottom line is...poor customer service from 4 different reps and 1 supervisor. SWITCHED TO ANOTHER PHONE SERVICE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CLEARTEL / DULLTEL TO ANYONE I KNOW!

Summary: My overall view of my Cleartel home phone service is excellent. I changed from Talk America home phone service because they had lots of hidden taxes and fees they tacked onto the monthly bill that made the final bill more than what I was paying before I switched to them. I am very pleased with Cleartel's quality, customer service, and prices overall.

Pros: Perfect service and easy switch!

Summary: I would recommend switching to Cleartel. It was easily done online and I have saved over $60 in just 2 months worth of service. Quality is clear and billing is easy to read! Highly recommended.

Hmmm

Pros: Cost, ease of use of voice mail system.

Cons: Limited customer service hours, long waits on hold, poor general communication of order status and issues that I would consider to be important.

Summary: I would be much more pleased with Cleartel as a phone provider if their customer service had been more communicative about such basic issues as how to use the voice mail system and what the procedure was to retrieve messages. It would appear that Cleartel is moving toward having this information on their website (which would be fine for me) but at the time I needed the information, this section of the website was not yet completed.

The bottom line for me was that I felt that the company did an extremely poor job of communicating to me when they needed additional information to process my order or when I had questions.

When my service was finally activated I was not given long distance access even though my plan was to have included it; I could not make phone calls out of my immediate area for 8 days before the problem was resolved, and it took 8 customer service calls before the problem was even properly analyzed. This was totally unacceptable and because of this I rate this company as extremely poor in customer service for new customers.

Summary: GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PRICE, EVERYTHING YOU WANT IN RESIDENTIAL PHONE SERVICE AT A PRICE THAT CAN'T BE BEAT BY ANYONE. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE OTHER " DISCOUNT" PLANS OUT THERE. THIS COMPANY AND PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL. NO COMPLAINTS.

Summary: I never used the service, and also when I signed up for the service it said it takes a couple of days, a week went by and then I got a letter saying you needed more information, that's why immediately cancelled the service.

Summary: I am not satisfied because I have authorized the transaction but no service has been connected.
