Thursday, September 25, 2008this thing is definitely better than the sidekick, ugly, yes it is. in terms of price and technology ratio, it's most def a getter.

Thursday, September 25, 2008@MeesterBubbles and CoasterCrazy80: Argh, I can't stand idiotic fan boys like you guys. MeesterBubbles... I hope you realize that the iPhone is basically a copy of Palm with a cleaner interface and multi touch. Palm had a touch screen WAY before the iPhone. Palm's home screen is... ICONS YOU CAN TOUCH! The grab and pull mechanic has bee used on other things before the iPhone too. It really annoys me when fan boys are completely ok with Apple stealing ideas and accuse everyone else of stealing Apple's ideas. Pick one and stick with it. If you're gonna accuse people of stealing Apple ideas, admit that Apple stole a lot of their ideas too. If you don't want to admit Apple steals ideas, then stop accusing other companies too. In the industry, EVERYONE steals. Including your beloved Apple. CoasterCrazy80... Are you serious? The G1 isn't the prettiest phone I've seen by a long shot, but it's far from ugly. It's just very... bland looking. Not ugly, not pretty. Just kind of boring. It drives me nuts when fan boys make these exaggerations. It's like the freaking idiot Gizmodo editor who said "android is a big no-no" to him because... one of the mockup images that was released had an error on the page. A mistake in a mock up image made him write Android off because "Apple would never do that." Listen, the iPhone is an INCREDIBLE piece of hardware with a sweet sweet interface (still the best at this moment). I easily understand the iPhone love. What I don't understand is why people feel so passionately about defending it, even to the point of absurdity.

Wednesday, September 24, 2008Sorry, I don't see too many correlations between the G1 & Iphone other than having a touch screen, which has been on my Treo for a few years now. I guess an onscreen keyboard would be good for some apps where you wouldn't want to slide the screen, but it's NBD for me right now. Guess I'm spoiled not having to do anything to access a keyboard.

1/5/2009 2:56:05 PMWhat does this mobile does that iPhone doesn't? Push Gmail? It'll soon be avaliable for iPhone Real Keyboard? That only makes the mobile looks more fat. But even if the iPhone does the same things as G1, the iPhone does better, with a better interface.

1/3/2009 3:18:23 PMsomewhat true, but the iphones does many things in a similar fashion, although the maps thing is probably the only thing that i saw that the iphone cant, haha but i do agree that the iphone could be much better

12/30/2008 8:44:01 PMI just exchanged my Behold for the G1. Trust me it's THE best phone on the market. Hands down (The G1 that is). The Behold is tiny and cute and has a few cool options but other than that, it can't even begin to compete with the G1. The G1 will grow with you, the Behold will outdate pretty quickly. But that is just my opinion! Good luck.

12/30/2008 8:42:17 PMThis phone is absolutely AMAZING. I just received mine today in the mail (Black). I can't even wrap my mind around all the perks this phone has and can grow to have. It's amazing. I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND THE T-MOBILE G1 for ANYONE and everyone! Great phone!!!

12/30/2008 2:29:30 PMexactly... can you believe T mobile are advertising the fact you get 50 free applications!!! Why make numbers a part of the marketing when apple just hit 10,000 apps in the app store?
