Awesome. Not sure what this has to do with cell phones, except that Nokia is selling an N96 Bruce Lee Edition in China. And they're making some sweet viral video ads to go with it. Check out the Ping Pong video!

1/9/2009 2:01:09 AMWell said Spackward. I find it particularly disappointing nobody's been able to make a Table Tennis movie without cg balls. It's no fun watching things like Balls of Fury. Have to feel sorry for people who don't know it's cg. Most other cg work is really great and has helped the movie industry enormously! :)

1/8/2009 5:19:37 AMthis was on a korean show where they ask if it's real or fake. this was cg'd & it's not bruce lee.

1/8/2009 1:25:34 AMThe CtB snake is anatomically innaccurate, the nose and lips are off, but given the benefit of the doubt the design was for fantasy purposes. The anaconda was a lot more accurate, ignoring that its slightly larger than a real giant anaconda. It's not enough for the snake to look real, motion and movement is just as important. But this is thrown out the window because both snakes are fake :/ Aside, would you have known it was a CG ball if Bruce Lee was still alive today?

1/7/2009 6:06:08 PMOK, let's try exclude the actors and writing then and just compare the CGI/Non-CGI characters. Now, go have a look at the non-CGI snake in Conan the Barbarian (1982) /watch?v=RcN_CAiUim0 then go watch the CGI snake in Anaconda (1997) /watch?v=s2I_qI4V6Ps Question: Which one looked real and which one looked like it was created by some 20 year old CGI moron who's never seen a real snake?

1/7/2009 5:14:28 PMWhat, cause we are commisioned to do work we automatically make the movie bad? Next time you watch a movie pay attention to the actors and the writing before you start dumping your shit on the visuals that are produced by visual dev and not by those who actually do the CGI. I'd like to see you put something out there that's on a cgi par with TDTESS. Oh shit looks like you haven't.

1/7/2009 2:50:19 PMHey "cgi artist" (more like bullshit artist) Go watch the 1952 version of The day the earth stood still, then the 2008 big budget Hollywood remake, also read some reviews on both. Maybe then you'll understand why people hate you CGI assholes
spackward
1/7/2009 2:15:04 PMWell fuck some of us cgi artist train for 5 to 10 years for 6 or more hours a day on a computer to master it. Maybe when Dr. Frankenstein comes a long he can raise THE master from the dead and have him play ping pong with his nun-chucks and us cgi folks will be out of a job yeah? Get over yourself, Bruce Lee was a good and fast martial artist, but he wasn't THE master.

1/7/2009 5:36:35 AMGuys, Bruce Lee's abilities were real, but in this viral, it's a recreated Lee!!! I knew the Chinese Film Director (Mr. Zhu Jin Jing) who did this for Nokia. It's a stuntman Bruce Leelook alike. Indeed, there are quite a lot of post production effort on this movie. Anyway, check out the Director's other good work at youtube, KEYWORD SEARCH FOR: DHL Frozen In Time. This time, it's all purely in-camera work!!!

1/7/2009 2:57:08 AMBruce lee's abilities were real, not faked with computers. He trained 3 hours a day since he was 13 to become THE Master. Taking his likeness and using it to promote whatever is just a disgrace. Bruce Lee was awesome, CGI IS NOT

1/6/2009 12:23:56 AMum... there's a reason why it says Nokia N96 on the title; it's an advertisment(for Nokia obviously) with a digitally inserted Bruce Lee. P.S. before you go about ranting like an idiot about how I'm an idiot, why dont you do a little research first.

1/6/2009 12:17:18 AMall the people who say this is fake, YOU HAVE NO HOPE IN YOUR LIFES AND NO REASON FOR EXISTANCE, SHOOT YOURSELF NOW. this video is amazing and real and i believe bruce lee did it.
