Sunday, November 23, 2008Noah, I assume you might know this, but SureType doesn't start out "smart" or intuitive. It actually learns works you type or read and then makes smarter suggestions as you keep using the device. Dude, don't give up. The QWERTY might not be all that slick, but I'm holding out hope for the SureType (which I used a lot on their 7100 and 7130). (Really liked the unboxing videos, thanks a lot!)

Sunday, November 23, 2008Hey guys, this is his opinion. If you don't like it too bad, but he won't change his opinion because you guys don't like it. I currently have the iphone 3g but I went to both AT&T and Verizon today to check out the bold and the storm. Unfortunately, they only had the bold in a glass case and didn't have one for me to mess with. But I have to say that the bold looked pretty cool to me and my brother. So we went to Verizon to check out the storm. At first I didn't believe Noah on everything he was saying so I had to see the phone for myself. And to be honest, it was cool but I wasn't all that blown away. The phone was slow (the phone froze in lock mode) and I didn't really like the surepress thing. I liked it at first, but then it got annoying. I wish that the phone was just either pressure-resitant or capacative (don't know if that's spelled right). My brother was still more impressed with the bold even though he didn't get to actually get his hands on it yet.

Saturday, November 22, 2008The only reason I am considering to buy either Blackberry storm or LG dare is built in GPS but I couldn't find any information about how well the GPS function works. How does the GPS interface look like and does it have turn by turn voice instruction? How long does it take to get connected to the satellites?

Thursday, November 20, 2008Noah...I am a huge fan of you and your site..you have the job I would love to have!! But, I am pretty disappointed right now. You sailed in your first test of the Storm keyboard - I was shocked at how fast your were typing. 10 hours later, you buried the storm - what gives? I am pretty much a cellphone junkie and carry a 3G iPhone. I am awaiting my Storm and after watching your first video, I am pretty pumped to get it. I just am not sure why you buried it 10 hours later - it really has me wondering.

12/31/2008 3:16:38 PMShe had unlimited minutes, texting. She got a call saying that she went over her minutes and owed $300 dollars. She had a 2 year contract with them and had to pay about $500 to break it on top of the $120 phone bill

12/31/2008 2:45:14 AMdood who punched you in the jaw? Was it at&t when they screwed you over with their rates? Anyways, I type just fine on the Storm, if your lame ass can't figure it out then you are destined for mediocrity with the iclone...........er iphone rather. Nothing like jumping on the band wagon and squealing like a little girl when you see your favorite flavor of the month iphone. Just do us a favor never video tape yourself with your iphone in your panties with it on vibrate. Okay?

12/29/2008 1:56:59 AMif you just move your thumbs a little higher up that split second will give the screen time to lift back up, and you should be able to type pretty fast. at least thats what has worked for me. by no means is this comparable to the iphone unfortunately.

12/23/2008 1:09:43 AMLots of "two-fold"-ing going on here. I've had the phone for almost a week and had an 8830 and I'll NEVER go back to an actual keyboard. The speed limit thing is bullshit anyway if you are going from a Blackberry to this. Im able to type FASTER now and it DOES take time to get used to it no question, but I am a power user (an iPhone user does not a power user make) and love it. "Its not a fanboy thing". Yes it is nerd and I've used an iPhone and the keyboard typing is 10x easier on the Storm.
