HTC 8125 Review - Introduction & Design
Introduction & DesignFeaturesDisplay & AudioEntertainment, Internet, Storage, ConnectivityConstruction & Conclusion Introduction & DesignEditor Rating: IntroductionThe New Cingular 8125 is another innovative product from HTC. HTC stands for High Tec Computers Corporation . HTC is a company from Taiwan that specializes in Windows mobile phones. The 8125 is branded by Cingular, so it has “Cingular” written on it, and also has many Cingular exclusive features on it. The 8125 is a quad-band GSM phone that has a 200 Mhz processor, 128Mb Rom and 64Mb of Ram and an external Mini-SD slot that supports up to 2 GB of extra memory. The 8125 also has an excellent QWERTY keyboard that slides out horizontally. Design The 8125 looks boxier as opposed to the MDA which has a rounded look. The 8125 seems a lot lighter too. Another major improvement between the two is the keyboard. The 8125 has a much better keyboard than the T-Mobile MDA because it is a lot easier to type with. Since the keys are a lot bigger and block style, it makes it much easier to type as opposed to the MDA where the keys are smaller and spaced out from each other. I bought a used one off of ebay for $168. I owned the Motorola MPX220 before - a little buggy but a good phone. The 8125 ROCKS! I can read ebooks (which I do quite frequently), listen to mp3 (like an ipod, only better). Buy the expansion card - I've bought games, etc to load and play. The reception is not as great as my daughter's RAZR but I'm not complaining. Friday, June 13, 2008Well to date about right now its actually on ebay u can get an almost new one for about $200.00 US... The phone I have to admit is the best phone I have had in my opinion. I have tried alot of smartphones and this one by far is the most responsive. But thats my opinion! THANKS FOR THE REVIEW!
