Saturday, November 08, 2008IS THE QUICKFIRE PHONE A SMARTPHONE OR A PDA PHONE Monday, November 03, 2008When is the !!!EXACT!!! date it is comin out. Saturday, October 18, 2008I cannot! wait for it to come out!!!!! Pretty goodOverall Rating: By: Sam C on Friday, January 02, 2009From: Portland, ME (United States) Experience: 8 Days Pros: very easy-to-use keyboard with nice layout, good sound qualityCons: touch screen unresposive at timesSummary: The Quickfire is decent as a texting phone. The touch screen is unresponsive fairly often, but when the phone is open this is not an issue - there are up, down, left and right keys on the keyboard. I would still recommend this phone, I think the pros outweigh the cons. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful
QuickfireOverall Rating: By: Cristina B on Tuesday, December 30, 2008From: Ashburn, VA (United States) Experience: 1 Weeks Pros: keyboard, ease of use, screen locks, good camera with mirror, charm hookCons: iffy touchscreen, bad batterySummary: I have had this phone for a week and love it. It definetly has pros and cons. Pros: -Keyboard-The keyboard makes texting easy. I text alot and this makes texting very easy. The keyboard is very responsive. The keys and fairly large and raised so they are easy to press. They have space in between them and it does not feel cramped or tight. This is definetly the best keyboard that I have texted on. -Ease of Use-The phone is pretty straightforward it is hard to get used to at first. I adjusted to this phone very quickly. -Camera- The camera has a mirror next to it for self-portraits. The camera is 1.3 mp. It is pretty good for a phone. I still carry around my digital camera though. -Charm Hook- Many people overlook this feature. This phone has a place for a charm. This helps add a personal touch to the phone. Cons: -Touchscreen- This touchscreen is hard to describe. Some days it works perfectly and some days I think I am going to break the screen from hitting it. Most of the time I wind up having to navigate with the arrows on the keyboard. The most annoying part of this is that sometimes when I touch something it will go to a different application. This is very frustrating. I would not let the touchscreen keep you from getting this phone. -Battery- The battery has three hours of talk time which is fair for a phone. By the end of the day, if I sent about 200-300 texts and a couple of phone calls the battery will be about 3/4ths gone. The battery is fine if you charge it everynight. I would definitely recommend this phone to anybody. I understand why some people say to not get this phone but there are ways around the problems that are not that annoying. Even if you are not sure if you are going to get this phone, go to the store and check it out. If you are still not sure, get it and if you do not like it then return it. Please give this phone a try. 5 out of 6 people found this review helpful
Best AT&T PhoneOverall Rating: By: Matthew Posey on Monday, December 15, 2008From: Seymour, IN (United States) Experience: 14 Days Pros: great touch screen, great keyboard, great call qualityCons: battery life if using camera alotSummary: over all this is the best phone for texting that at&t has come out with. it is not a smart phone so people shouldn't expect it to do everything like an iphone. if you dont use the internet alot and your more into texting get it. its better than the matrix and propel. its no bigger than a voyager or any blackberry out there. 5 out of 7 people found this review helpful
Don't botherOverall Rating: By: danielle clifford on Sunday, December 14, 2008From: boston, MA (United States) Experience: 10 Days Pros: keypad Cons: touchscreen is not reactive, short battery lifeSummary: I love the design of this phone however the touchscreen is so terrible, you finally give up trying to access anything. The battery lasts a day, and this is without using it for much. Also very slow once you choose options, it takes it a long time to process.. Returning it today. 2 out of 5 people found this review helpful
Pretty but not easyOverall Rating: By: E Meredith on Friday, December 05, 2008From: Des Moines, IA (United States) Experience: 2 Days Pros: Great size, style, keyboard; screen size is greatCons: Touch screen lacks sensitivitySummary: I purchased this for all of the options it offered and it's style/physical ease of use. However, the touch screen doesn't respond consistently..sometimes to the point I feel like I'm beating on the phone. I plan on returning it..sad it doesn't meet the basics it promises 2 out of 6 people found this review helpful
