Sanyo S1 Cell Phone
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...Sanyo S1Overall Rating: By: Nicolas Chiribao on Wednesday, September 24, 2008From: Mauldin, SC (United States) Experience: 1 Years Pros: Very sleek thin phone. Very good for making calls.Cons: No cameraSummary: The Sanyo S1 would make a really good phone if you don't text or e-mail a lot. Not for someone who text messages a lotOverall Rating: By: Brian H on Thursday, September 18, 2008From: Honolulu, HI (United States) Experience: 8 Months Pros: Good battery life, clear sound quality, decent reception, slim, no camera(for those who have jobs that dont allow you to bring in a camera phone ie military)Cons: Extremely slow text messaging in any mode(tap,t9, or word prediction),very slow applications, the ringer isnt very loud, cant load your own ringtones, the number pad is really cramped especially if you are trying to text, screen quality is really poorSummary: If all you are going to be using the phone for is calling people then this might be the phone for you. If you like your phone to do anything besides just calling people then it probably wont make you very happy. I text message quite a bit and i have nearly smashed this phone on the ground several times because it is just so slow and laggy. I timed it once when i was texting just a simple "i love you" to my wife. From the time I inputed the text to when the text showed up on the screen it took 37 seconds. Everything else that is weird about the phone I can live with. The texting just makes me furious. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful
P.O.S.Overall Rating: By: Some Body on Wednesday, September 17, 2008From: Boise, ID (United States) Experience: 45 Days Pros: You can use it to make phone calls and sometimes you can understand what the other person is saying. It is very small.Cons: The processor is so slow that when you write a text message using T9 it sometimes takes up to 30 sec to display what you entered. The display is low quality. Summary: Not worth buying. Basic phone for basic usageOverall Rating: By: Andrew Huff on Saturday, August 09, 2008From: Louisville, KY (United States) Experience: 1 Weeks Pros: It's small, slim and perfect for making calls. It has a battery door lock. Cons: None that I have found so far. Summary: This is a great phone for someone who uses a cellphone for it's original purpose: to make and receive telephone calls. The call quality is good and audible. It's perfect for the thrifty shopper. It's a phone.Overall Rating: By: Gary Forbes on Monday, June 16, 2008From: Sierra Vista, AZ (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: It's a phone, it lets you call people. It's thin, so it fits in my pocket easily. No flip or slide, so it's simpler and less likely to break. Decent battery life.Cons: It doesn't wash my car?Summary: I haven't had any problems with this phone, it just works. It is pretty solid, the only flaw I can find is that the anti-slip coating has rubbed off on the corners from being slid into my pocket. I also find it easy to talk with, unlike some phones that are difficult to hold to your ear. Alas, I still have to wash my car myself... 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful
