Samsung SGH-D307 Cell Phone
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...Looking for the next best thing...Overall Rating: By: natural lateef on Thursday, December 20, 2007From: Toledo, OH (United States) Experience: 8 Months Pros: This phone is very "cute"...everyone is loving the way it flips open two different ways. This protects the keyboard and just looks cool.Cons: This is my second D307, and I've had the same problems with both...the keyboard gains sensitivity over time, so in landscape mode, the phone does things you don't prompt it to. While landscape mode offers lot of features, it is lacking the one I hoped the most for when I purchased the phone...the ability to surf the web in landscape mode. There is no camera, and this phone doesn't offer a lot of memory. This is a BIG problem because I use the device with MediaNet (AT&T/Cingular web browsing servSummary: While the Samsung SGH D307 is aesthetically attractive, it just doesn't feel as practical as my former device (a Blackberry). If all you need is a "cool" looking or "cute" phone, this one might be perfect in its unique dual-flip design. If you need convenient web browsing, the ability to use a QWERTY keyboard at ALL times, a camera or lots of media memory, RUN THE OTHER WAY! 7 out of 14 people found this review helpful
Samsung SGH-D307Overall Rating: By: Gabriela Lamberti on Wednesday, March 21, 2007From: Coral Springs, FL (United States) Experience: 9 Months Pros: QWERTY keypad, unique dual hinge flip phone, great for text messaging and SMS, Cons: The only thing missing in this phone is a camera and the ability to view web pages via the landscape mode.Summary: I have the unlocked version but ended up using Cingular anyways. This phone has a lot of features and at first it seams complicated but once you start using the phone for a week i ended loving the QWERTY keypad. What realy attracted me to the phone was the dual hinge technology. It's awsome and i'm glad that Samsung improved the SGH-D307 with the SCH-U740. Can't wait for the unlocked version, cause i don't like Verizon. 13 out of 20 people found this review helpful
Disappointing yet UniqueOverall Rating: By: Nate W on Monday, August 14, 2006From: Los Angeles, CA (United States) Experience: 1 Years Pros: Has a cool landscape flip, works well with texting. Speakerphone works very well, really clear even while noisy. The voice activated feature is pretty cool while driving able to make phone calls or even send text through dictation. Cons: Doesn't allow file transfer through bluetooth, data cable for this phone is too expensive. Which kind of limits your custom ringtone and custom wallpapers. Summary: Overall not a bad phone has a unique flip feature that is surprises people. Would have been a better phone if bluetooth would allow file transfer. A camera would make this phone the perfect phone. 12 out of 28 people found this review helpful
