Tuesday, November 18, 2008Has anyone figured out how to use downloaded ringtones? Some of the sites wont allow me to downlaod while others will but wont allow me to set them as my ringtone. help please... And where do you keep your stylus? Sunday, November 16, 2008I just got this phone and I love it! I am having one problem tho. When i bluetooth ringtones with others they automaticaly store in my media player and i cant figure out how to transfer ringtones to My Ringtones on my phone. Please Help. Other than that the phone is awesome! :) Monday, November 10, 2008the more i learn about this phone, the more it looks really awesome. I have to get a new phone from alltel soon anyways and this is looking like the clear winner. now all i need to see is a phonedog video review of it and i'll be set! also, in regards to the one customer review that is here, I was browsing the user manual for this phone online and on page 139 it mentions the option to turn off the auto keypad lock (under settings>phone settings>auto keypad lock). not sure if this helps but oh well! Another lover of the U.S. Cellular Samsung Delve...Overall Rating: By: Zach Bell on Tuesday, January 06, 2009From: Bloomington, IL (United States) Experience: 1 Days Pros: 1. Responsive touch screen 2. Full HTML browser built in 3. Gestures and Widgets 4. EASY to useCons: Auto Keyguard... I turned it OFF in the phone settings menuSummary: This is a review of the U.S. Cellular Samsung Delve (as Alltel doesn't sell phones in my area). First, the TouchWIZ interface is much more responsive than nearly every other touch interface I've used, excluding iPhone. In fact, before trying this model, I borrowed two other touch phones and tried them out. The first one, an iPhone, was alright, but I didn't want to change cell carriers and couldn't have a touch screen by itself. The second one, an LG, just didn't fit my needs- I clearly needed a larger screen, better control placement and more reliable speech recognition. Then I heard about Delve, and went to the store this morning to try it. The Delve has the best of both touch phones I tried in the past- it's got the 2 MP camera, responsive touch screen and gestures of the iPhone while also having the physical controls of the LG and a speech recognition system neither of them can match. Overall, the Delve makes a perfect addition to U.S. Cellular's lineup and I would definitely recommend the Delve to my friends and colleagues. I love this phone!Overall Rating: By: Igor Kuzmanoski on Friday, November 28, 2008From: Huntley, IL (United States) Experience: 4 Days Pros: 1.Responsive touch screen 2.Qwerty keyboard 3.Good reception 4.Easy to use/learn 5.Good bang for your buck 6.Full html browserCons: 1.Battery life can run a little low when using browser 2.Auto-lock can be a pain sometimesSummary: I really enjoy this phone and am glad i bought it. I have it for US Cellular, not Alltel, so the comparison might not be the same. Its got a great touchscreen with a cool widgets menu for nice customization. The browser runs great for a non-3G network. I load web pages very quickly. The on-screen qwerty keyboard looks small but its very intuitive and comfortable to use. The auto-lock is useful but it locks too quickly sometimes, which cant be changed but can be turned off. You hold the lock key longer to turn it off. Definitely not an Instinct or Omnia but a great choice for anyone who wants to get into the touchscreen fad. Overall its a great phone, especially with US Cellulars lack of nice phones. Go for it you wont be sorry. 9 out of 10 people found this review helpful
