Q. Noah, you have very informative videos and think that you are great at your job. I have a question about Sprint's Samsung Instinct. I am fairly efficient with a QWERTY keypad, but I am so much faster on a T9 layout. Is the Samsung Instinct capable of a T9 text entry? I noticed in your YouTube video "Sprint Samsung Instinct vs LG Vu vs iPhone - Long Version " that when you entered the number to text (right past the 10:00 mark), the numbers had the corresponding three letters beside them (2=abc;3=def;etc.)...can the Instinct text with T9? I know nothing about third-party applications & such, but could their be an application or update from Sprint/Samsung fixing this issue?

A. Thanks for watching the videos and visiting the site.  I appreciate the kind words, too.  Lots of people have been asking about T9 on the Instinct.  Unfortunately that T9 mode only shows up when you're entering the number/address you're sending a message to; there's no way to activate it when you're actually writing the message.  Hopefully Sprint/Samsung will add/fix this with a software update, but I haven't seen anything yet.  I agree - a T9 mode for texting would be a great addition to Instinct.  I've mentioned this to my contacts at the companies, but I don't make the decisions ;-)  Cheers, Noah
