Nokia 6103 Cell Phone User Reviews
![]() HorribleOverall Rating: By: Mario Baiz on Sunday, June 08, 2008From: East Chicago, IN (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: It's a phoneCons: Doesn't take good pics, always has a malfunction even if u replace itSummary: Ok so i got the nokia 6103 for my 1st phone it was ok it worked well a couple months later my volume button didnt work, if i went 2 fast through the menu the phone would freeze and i'd have to turn it off so i called t-mobile and got a replacement one which was a horrible mistake this second one did the same it froze one time i was just playing my ringtones and it froze then it started making a weird noise and it started deleting my ringtones on its own i turned the phone off and the tones all came back then a couple weeks ago im sitting in my english class and i feel something hot in my pocket i take out my phone and its super hot i didnt know what to do so i turned it off and it cooled down i was lucky it didnt burst in flames a week later i calle dup t-mobile told them my problem they told me my warranty ended so i hung up next day went out and bought the samsung blast and im really happy with it i dont have to worry about it freezing up or bursting in flames I believe Nokia cannot make a good flip phoneOverall Rating: By: Saurabh Varn on Thursday, November 08, 2007From: Des Plaines, IL (United States) Experience: 11 Months Pros: NoneCons: Dim LCD, bad reception, defective flipSummary: I had this Nokia 6103b phone for less than a year, suddenly the flip started making a clicking noise. I called up my provider T-Mobile and explained them and they told me that this phone is under warranty and we will send you the replacement but if this is due to out of warranty reasons you have to pay 100 dollars. I asked T-mobile to evaluate this before replacement but they denied that. Then I called up Nokia and they asked me to send the phone to repair center. I sent the phone and after 15 days I got the following, “Your Nokia 6103b device, serial number ****************, has been returned to you unrepaired. Generally devices are returned unrepaired for one of the following reasons: the estimated repair cost was not authorized, we received no response to the repair quote estimate, the device was not made by Nokia or we do not have repair capabilities for that model since it was not distributed by Nokia in this country.” I called up customer service and repair center but they were not able to give me exact reason why they returned the phone unrepaired. At least they should give me the reason why they were not able to repair. This phone never had any physical or liquid damage, flip noise started happening by itself due to the manufacturing defects. I BELIEVE NOKIA CAN NOT MAKE A GOOD FLIP PHONE I do not recommend any Nokia product to anyone as their customer service is bad and their products are too cheap. I have another Nokia phone that I am using right now is also not working properly; two of its buttons are not working. 14 out of 21 people found this review helpful

Not happyOverall Rating: By: Tim Sudezko on Friday, October 20, 2006From: North Tonawanda, NY (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Nice flip phone, FM radio, clear display, simple to operate, seems well builtCons: Text messagingSummary: The phone is a good phone, but the main drawback is when receiving text messages, the phone either shuts itself off or it act like it wants to. 35 out of 74 people found this review helpful
The Nokia 6103, a great value.Overall Rating: By: Kyle Kennedy on Tuesday, October 17, 2006From: Aloha, OR (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Bright screens, the backlight is powerful. The battery is very effective and efficient. The camera is decent, and it has great build quality.Cons: The camera is below-par image wise, it lacks many features that other phones have. The OS is pretty crummy and the phone is slow browsing menus.Summary: All in all, it isn't a bad phone, these are great for what they're priced. I wouldn't buy it again, but I'd certainly invest in a better phone. This one is rock solid, and will probably outlive me. 38 out of 69 people found this review helpful
Pretty Good PhoneOverall Rating: By: D Huynh on Tuesday, September 26, 2006From: Murfreesboro, TN (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Great reception. Stylish design. Cons: Antenna on wrong side. Limited features.Summary: This first thing that comes to your attention is the modern design of the phone. It has a nice rubbery cover. The reception on this phone is incredible compared to all of my previous phones (RAZR, various Samsungs, and other motorolas). The major problem I have about this phone is that the antenna is on the opposite side of where normal phone antennas are. I hold my phone in my left ear and the antenna gets in the way of holding it comfortably. Other than that it is a great phone for the money. 27 out of 62 people found this review helpful
Excellent new phone from T MobileOverall Rating: By: Sac Kamal on Tuesday, September 26, 2006From: Chicago, IL (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: Small size, weight, included camera, the ease of the Nokia interface.Cons: Not many. None so far in fact!!Summary: This is an excellent phone loaded with features. This being my first cell phone, I'm extremely happy with it. 18 out of 49 people found this review helpful
It was cool at firstOverall Rating: By: Wil Petraska on Monday, September 04, 2006From: East Lansing, MI (United States) Experience: 1 Months Pros: Cool looking Rugged Bluetooth CapabilitiesCons: The phone won't charge anymore. I've only had it for a month and it's already broke. Never dropped or damaged in anyway. Just went to plug it in one day and surprise, won't charge.Summary: Overall, I'm disappointed. After only a month and it's broken. There's no excuse for that. It has a few good features but once I get mine back from Nokia, I probably won't keep it because in all honesty, quality is the most important thing to me. If it breaks, I don't want it. I would advise against getting this phone. 35 out of 58 people found this review helpful
Best Yet........Overall Rating: By: Ben Ehrlichman on Wednesday, August 23, 2006From: Villa Ridge, MO (United States) Experience: 2 Weeks Pros: small size, easy to use, good reception, attractive designCons: noneSummary: I recently swiched to this phone because the Samsung was worthless. Nokia has always offered great products, service, reception, and ease of use are perfect. 21 out of 58 people found this review helpful
Nokia 6103 Cellular PhoneOverall Rating: By: Chelsea M. Buchan on Saturday, August 05, 2006From: New Middletown, OH (United States) Experience: 3 Weeks Pros: Features "Bluetooth technology", to use for hands-free conversations. Considered especially lightweight, and features a handy camera. I also like that you can record audio, and then set it as your ringtone. It has a radio, as well. The battery life is considered very good compared with other phones.Cons: I may be imagining it, but I don't think the image quality of the camera is as good as the 6101 model. I've seen the camera feature rated as low as 3/10, but it's still nice to have.Summary: Newly released after the success and popularity of the 6101 Nokia model. Basically the same phone, but with newly added "Bluetooth" technology, and small differences - such as the look, or the new headset. 28 out of 60 people found this review helpful
Improvements to the 6103 are great.Overall Rating: By: Suzanne Roberts on Saturday, July 22, 2006From: Madison, WI (United States) Experience: 30 Days Pros: Besides what I already liked about the 6101 the updated 6103 has an even better external display, added Bluetooth, and sleek design. Cons: Small complaints include the fact that they didn't get rid of the external stub antenna, and the speakphone quality is not loud enough.Summary: I just got the 6103 after using the 6101 for over a year. The improvements that Nokia made to the 6103 are just what the phone needed. It was already a great little camera phone, but the Bluetooth, the menu speed, and the added rubberized grip are wonderful. 24 out of 46 people found this review helpful
