Nokia 6085

User rating 4.2   Read reviews - Add review
The Nokia 6085 is the next evolution of the popular 6102/6103 models. The 6085 now includes an expandable memory slot, full stereo bluetooth capability, integrated music player and Flash lite 2.0. The original design has been altered slightly by removing the external antenna, giving the 6085 a sleeker look than its predecessor.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008Nokia 6085 - this is the 5th phone in 6 months. There is a flaw in the design, where the screen begins to only function when the phone is only flipped open half way (holding LCD to number pad at 90 degrees or les), then it finally goes bad. I got this phone for my daughter in college, her only phone, and one for my wife so my wife and daughter could stay in touch. This is the worst cell phone we have owned to date, and I have had over 25 different phones in the last 8 to 10 years. The reliability and durability of this phone is extremely disappointing.

Pros: R-E-C-E-P-T-I-O-N. Period. Flat out knocks motorola out of the water.

Cons: Cant Find one.

Summary: All the bells and whistles (radio, music, memory card, good camera, bluetooth) with great reception, battery life, sturdienss, and voice clarity to boot makes this phone a must have!

I had a Motorola KRZR from Centennial Wireless. I paid $150.00 to buy this phone out of contract because my KRZR cracked. Nokia flat out beats motorola on this one. Period.

Cons: The lock-out's in the navigation of the menu's are annoying.

Summary: The combined ability of the Nokia 6085 with a hewlett packard calculator , (USB connection), gives the benefit of outdoor use of both devices.

Horrible sound

Overall Rating:
2.6 out of 5
By: Jane Doggins on Sunday, August 05, 2007
From: Seattle, WA (United States)
Experience: 7 Days
Pros: Other then the sound it worked fine. Camera was good and easy to use.

Cons: The phone sounds horrible. Even with a good connection it was muffled and sounded like it had static in the connection.

Summary: I brought this back to exchange as the sound was so bad. Other than that it was fine but who wants a phone with good features but you can't hear people clearly.
