Motorola v265 Cell Phone
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...made CHEAPLY..NOT built to Last!! Phone is Dead in < 6 MONTHS!!Overall Rating: By: BOBBY ROSS on Friday, March 09, 2007From: CHICAGO, IL (United States) Experience: 6 Months Pros: Small, light, and portable.Cons: Made CHEAPLY, Battery charge is not long, phone intermittently shuts off and on, bad pic resolution, heats up during charging. Summary: I recently received this phone 6 months ago from US Cellular and had problems with it from DAY ONE! For starters it intermittently shut off while in the middle of an important phone call, did not store a charge for longer than 1 hour, and was built NOT to last! I did drop the phone a few times but no more or less than other phones (like the VX4400 which lasted me TWO YEARS). My phone does not work anymore and the estimated repair from US Cellular was a WHOPPING $175-WHAT A RIPOFF! I decided it is better to buy a cheaper replacement phone to hold me over for one more year than to give US Cellular and extended contract. I almost believe there is a conspiracy to manufacture the phones cheaply to make customers spend LOTS OF MONEY on artificially inflated prices on phones during the term of your contract. This way, the phone company benefits in terms of service and hardware (even though they gave you the first one free which should have been built into the cost of service to begin with). The sad thing is you have to buy THEIR PHONE or it will not work with THEIR NETWORK-WHAT A SCAM! 20 out of 36 people found this review helpful

Motorola v265Overall Rating: By: William Laughlin on Wednesday, October 18, 2006From: Pine City, NY (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: Being a flip phone it is easy to store in your pocket. Internet Connectivity, Ability to play mp3 ringtones, Camera.Cons: Camera picture quality is not great. No bluetooth. Phone does not have a long life. Summary: The phone overall is good. From my experience though it is good when it is working. Eventually when you close the flip, it will shut itself off and turn back on. I would still use the phone, because it looks good and it serves the purpose of what I need. (As far as it dying that is what the warranty is for.) 13 out of 37 people found this review helpful

Motorola v265Overall Rating: By: T Tyrell on Monday, September 25, 2006From: King of Prussia, PA (United States) Experience: 2 Years Pros: Extremely durable with excellent battery life. I have had the phone for 2 years and have not had any issues other than the volume recently starting to go out.Cons: 2 years old and sometimes I need to pull off the cover and clean because the volume is starting to go. Picture quality is not that good.Summary: Overall this is a very good phone with excellent battery life and many features. The picture quality is not that good, but that is not what I bought the phone for. My overall rating would be a B+. 14 out of 22 people found this review helpful
