Motorola i605 Cell Phone
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...Not a good phone at all.Overall Rating: By: Dean Thicket on Friday, December 23, 2005From: Oregon, WI (United States) Experience: 2 Months Pros: Personally I do not like anything about this phone. Cons: See Summary...Summary: Don't get the Nextel i605 phone. It's awkwardly designed. The Earpiece plug has a flip-up rubber tab which is hard to open and gets in the way when it's opened. Also, the charging plug has a rubber cover that's difficult to open. The screen is hard to read. It's the most fragile phone I've had. The clip that holds the battery and the keypad portion together dropped off on me after three months. Cheaply built. Unfortunately because my employer has a Nextel plan I'm stuck with them. I need a bluetooth phone and Nextels are the largest & seem to be the bulkiest. I'm going to have to try the 7100i. 53 out of 93 people found this review helpful
Overall I have been very happy with this phone.Overall Rating: By: Amanda Tool on Friday, December 23, 2005From: Fort Meyers, FL (United States) Experience: 4 Months Pros: Bluetooth, nice clear screen, better service than any other providers or phones I've tried. Cons: Some times the speaker phone breaks up on me, and the design is a little bulky. Summary: I looked at this Nextel i605 cell phone in the Nextel store before I bought it and read the review on C-Net first. They hated how close the buttons are and I did too in the store, but now that I have the phone, I have no problems with the buttons at all and I have really fat fingers. Call quality is good using the handset, but the speakerphone breaks up on me. I switched to Nextel, because they are the only carrier that I can get a signal in my home with. I have had Sprint, T-mobile and Verizon. Verizon was the best of those 3, but Nextel seems to be just as good as Verizon so far. I really like the overall design of the Nextel i605 cell phone, although it is a bit bulky, but not as bad as you'd think. I was tired of my flip phones breaking on me. The screens would always start to black out about a year into using them. A lot of friends had this problem also. I also bought this cell phone because it was Bluetooth enabled. I have ordered my headset, so I can't say how well the phone uses it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I just hope that when Nextel and Sprint merge it does not affect the service, because Sprint was horrible. 31 out of 62 people found this review helpful
