Pros: very sleek, great features, cheap price, great camera/video, easy to use, many personalization options, good speakers, qwerty keyboard, small, fun to have/use, good call quality, big enternal screen

Cons: Ok battery life-too loud on softest volume, only comes with phone charger and manuals

Summary: This phone is great. It has many big features, and other great small features that you wouldn't expect. It has a good 2 mega pixle camera/video. The qwerty keyboard is easy to use. This is a sleek, small, nice full featured phone that is fun to have/use.

enV2=AMAZING

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5

From: Medford, NJ (United States)

Pros: -QWERTY Keyboard is so easy to text on- not too big not to small
-Numbers on front very easy to dial, unlike regular env.
-Small screen on front is great. They made it more simple and not a full function screen like they did with the first env. All the quick features you need are great and right there.
-Relatively small, yet not too small (I like how you can actually know it's there, rather than thinking you lost it every ten seconds)
-Very durable and feels durable
-All keys are

Cons: -No left/right arrow keys on front, kind of awkard, but no big deal. Anything you'd really need to do with them you would open the phone up anyway.
-Requires special headphones to listen to music (this is common in phones, I don't know of a phone besides the iPhone where this isn't true)
-Kind of looks like a calculator (but I think it is very nice looking still)
-No flash on camera

Summary: Highly recommend it. Great phone with tons of cool features. You can see a lot of them on youtube by searching "env2". Very nice feel and sound quality.
Anybody who is considering this- GET IT.
Touch screen phones and any phone with the MAIN screen on front just become too hard to read due to scratches and smudges. Touch screen phones are not to the point where they are great to use. They still need some quirks worked out. I believe by the time you need a new phone (2 years, maybe one year) they will have mastered touch screen phones and they will be the best. For now, phones like the env2 are the best!

I've had it for a week, using it and listening to music, and I've charged it maybe 2 times

Pros: Great Keyboard, Lightweight, voice recording, 2.0 camera & video, larger screen than orignal enV

Cons: External screen has no left or right buttons

Summary: Overall, this phone is wonderful. It is much more advanced than the original enV, with a larger interior screen, lighter weight, and much more pocket-friendly!

I would recommend this phone for any person who would appreciate all of its wonderful features!

From: Woodstock, GA (United States)

Pros: small
compact
comfortable to text on
speakers are very loud and very clear
loud speaker when talking on the phone
amazing screen res

Cons: I honestly cant think of a single con.

Summary: This phone is absolutely incredible. i love everything about it. i got it in the mail this morning and have been useing it non stop ever since. i thought the small front screen would be a problem, but i dont mind it one bit. the only thing ive used it for was seeing who i had an incoming call from. i dont even see why you would rely on the smaller external screen and front keypad if you have a bigger internal screen and full QWERTY keypad inside. overall, amazing phone. the QWERTY is a little strange to me but thats only because this is the first phone i've had with one. its easy to get used to though.

without a doubt i recomend this phone to everyone!!!

LG-VX9100 enV2

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5

Pros: Absolutely impressive and easy to use phone. Packed full of features; outstanding phone clarity and beautiful little package with bright screens. On top of this, its "multimedia" capabilities was years ahead of my motorola e815... Literally

Cons: None! Wished it came out three years ago.

Summary: This phone simply and eloquently fits the bill-no matter what your style. It's small, but not to small, nice ergonomics and "fat-finger" friendly for the external keypad...(I HATE small keypads when trying to dial!!) Open it up and it's graced with a wonderful set of stereo speakers, cradled next to a beautiful 2.0 MP camera; no "hump" this time around - YEAH! The different types of "messaging" i.e. text, picture, video and audio, definitely let's you "message" like you've never been able to before! This phone is a god send and I'm finally set with a phone that can text, play music - nicely I might add; use music as ringtones, takes nice colorful photos and video... there is nothing but positives from this design KUDOS to LG!
One last thing, the battery life is quite nice... especially at how much I've pounded on these keys and "played" with it for the first few weeks...

The enV2 is sleek and functional.

Overall Rating:
4.2 out of 5

Pros: Full keyboard, great outside keypad design, much nicer looking.

Cons: A little bit wide...

Summary: Although the enV2 seems to be getting a bad rep as nothing more than a cosmetically improved version of the original enV, I see no harm in the change.

The last enV model was clunky and completely ugly. I just picked up my new enV2 from Circuit City today for about 86 bucks thanks to the update my line was eligible for at Verizon, and I get a $50 mail-in rebate on top of that.

I'd say the best improvement on the phone other than the overall shape is that fact that the outside buttons are much larger. I have no problem typing in a phone number to make a call and the smaller screen on the outside is really no hindrance at all; considering all you need to do for a bigger view is flip the phone open I find it interesting that some reviewers consider the outside screen a con. It's not like the phone's predecessor had a large external screen in the first place, and the larger buttons are so much easier to use than the ones on the original enV.

On top of the overall improvement in design the phone does have some added features such as a couple new ringtones and a few new menu displays to chose from which are all much nicer looking than those on the original enV.

I'd also like to add the the camera on this phone is pretty impressive. Some sites have coined the picture quality as merely "decent," but what do people expect from a tiny 2 megapixel camera feature sqeezed into a cell phone? If you're looking for high-quality, buy a digital camera.

My only two slight criticisms of the phone are the placement of the camera lens and the width of the phone. The lens is placed at the top of the phone which is a bit of a problem since when holding the phone lengthways to take a picture, my finger always settles itself comfortably over the lens, so it's a little akward to get used to holding at first without blocking your shot.

Also, while the phone while thinner than my old chocolate phone depth-wise, it is much wider across the front. I never liked the Razrs due to their width, and since I have small hands this phone is a little weird to hold after owning a thin little Krazr for about a year and a half; however, it's a small price to pay for the fabulous full keyboard that the width accommodates.

Overall I am VERY pleased with this phone. I skipped out on the highly visually appealing Venus phone because I don't feel that touch-screens are reliable on a long term basis. After the Chocolate I would never make that mistake again. I'd say that for those who text on a regular basis, the enV is probably the best phone Verizon offers within it's price range, and I would most certainly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it.

The next generation of LG phones

Overall Rating:
4.8 out of 5
By: Zac Smith on Saturday, May 03, 2008
From: Wichita, KS (United States)
Experience: 2 Days
Pros: Small,
Sleek,
Light,
High Res,
Outstanding Voice Clarity,
High Res 2.0 MP Camera,
Long Battery Life,
Large Internal Memory,

Cons: External Screen does not have as much functionality as the original enV

Summary: This is all around one of the best new phones out at this time, as well as any phone LG has made. It is everything the original enV was, without the huge brick of a phone! It is waaaay slimmer, sleek, and more stylish than the original enV. It has a bigger internal screen than the original and has the classic LG craftsmanship. The only flaw I could find is that the smaller external LCD screen is not as functional as the original enV's had. You can only text up to one page and make calls, and acess music. Anything else has to be done with the flip opened up. This is not much of a problem as anything you would need to do in a quick second is available to do on the external screen. Great phone LG
