Its Ok

Experience: 6 Months
Pros: Easy to text inside and out, 2.0 megapixel camra, slideshow, sharp display

Cons: Terribly small outside screen, broke 2 times, shuts off, battery gets worse and worse, ok design, only up and down arrow keys on the front.

Summary: I upgraded to this from my env because it broke, and this isent to much of a upgrade, i personaly rather have my old env. It has good things but more bad things about it. I am getting a new phone in Febuary. It is not i reapeat NOT worth the 120$ they want for it right now.

enV2 is OK at best.

Pros: The keyboard and easyness to use.

Cons: Any wind while on the phone and the phone breaks up. Whoever youre talking to has a hard time understanding you. When you use AOL instant messenger and get a call, if you receive anymore messages most of the time, the phone will reboot, the message will be lost and whoever youre on the phone with will think you hung up on them. I literally had to replace the enV 3 times, then Verizon replaced 2 enV2s, then they even blamed the memory card and after a new memory card, it STILL happened. 5 phon

Summary: The phone overall is OK, the cons describe my feelings on the phone. I pay $120 on average a month, I expect a phone to work and not reboot randomly when it wants to. 5 phones, same problem with EVERY SINGLE 1. I like LG, I don't like the enV/enV2. I use the AIM program a lot, I average 3000-4000 text messages a month including AIM, this phone overall is a disappointment. They need to fix the AIM program and find out why every single phone errors.

this is so sick

Pros: I like the big screen inside
the keyboard is spaced out very good
the speakers are very loud
the battery is good as well

Cons: I am not a big fan of the big screen but its has a bigger 1 inside.

Summary: Overall this is just another great phone that LG has to offer and us to accept. this phone is really good for people who love to text.

Awesome phone a must get!

Overall Rating:

Pros: Battery life is amazing longest ive seen one last on a cell phone! and thats after phone calls web browser and my hubby using it to text message for and hour! still has 3 bars :-) and its been on all day wow!

Cons: Does not have a full html browser. but if your reading this you have a computer to use for that.

Summary: I had tried the original env out a while back on prepay but returned it.the phone was awesome but worked better on a regular service plan. and i had a $400 deposit so i had to wait to get a regular service plan.so now a year later i got service with verizon after a agonizing nightmare with sprint( only went with them cuz cheaper activation fee) anywho, and i got the env2 i can do everything i need to on this.

a list of what i like :-)
* The front being very simple, nothing to get damaged (at least not easily damaged)great for making phone calls you can access your contact list dedicated music key and check messages.yes the external screen is small but i got a pic of me and hubby on there that looks nice.

*flip it open and you can check your email
chat on AOL YAHOO OR MSN ( hubby in military so its great for keeping in touch durring deployments ;-) vz navigator. you can find directions find a restraunt or even what time a movies starts at your local theatre :-)

You can access traffic weather and maps.
on this phone you can listen to music play games and check the mobile web ( not an HTML browser) but thats okay because if you need to do that much surfing on the internet you a computer is just fine for that. it also has vcast videos.

I know this phone aint the fanciest but honestly for most people this phone does everything you could possibly need during a normal day simple easy to use and great for those who have loved ones serving in the military or who live far away!

Cons: (all of which are very minor)

pretty damn near perfect

Overall Rating:
4.3 out of 5
By: Barack Obama III on Sunday, August 24, 2008
From: Chicago, IL (United States)
Experience: 2 Months
Pros: EXCELLENT QWERTY keyboard
Huge, easy to use front dial pad
Vibrant internal display
Soft-touch grip on back
VZNagivator
Call quality
THE NETWORK
Excellent battery - up to 5 days standby!
PERFECT size!
Overall, a FUN phone to use - even after months!

Cons: Front display is litterally like a millimeter too small
No sideways directional keys on outside keypad
T9 sometimes sneeks into texts while using the inside QWERTY
Chrome plating on outside edges chips/warps VERY easily
No incoming call location/visual voicemail updates like the Voyager/Dare got.

Summary: Such an amazingly fun phone to use!
Texting is super - the QWERTY keyboard rivals that of the Sidekick's.
The chrome edging chips horribly easy, definitely a HUGE minus.
Overall, however, if your careful with your phone, this might just be the greatest phone ever made!

AWESOME PHONE!

Pros: Great QWERTY keyboard! Great, sleek design! Easy to use! You'll love TXTing on it! It has a 2.0 megapixel camera! It's keyboard is actually roomy unlike the Samsung Alias'!

Cons: Could have the camera with auto focus and a flash.

Summary: It definitely slimmed down from the old enV. It's really fun to text on because you don't have to press buttons three times all the time. It looks and isn't a 'brick' like the old enV. Its an awesome phone!!!!!!!

Pros: It makes a good paperweight... the looks are some what cute :) the new verizon UI is better than before

3rd phone frozed when you hit the space key..
4th phone dropped calls
5th phone lost memory and the front keypad quit working
6th phone... caught on fire while on the house charger :(

Summary: I went from a samsung alias (sch-u740) to the env2.. I had my alias for a year with no problems.. I just wanted a new phone.. so I paid full retail for this phone. and from day 1 I was unhappy.. even the tech had to activate it 4 times to get it to work right for me to take it out of the store. OMG thats great quality...

My 1st phone had it for 2 days returned it
2nd phone had for 1 wk
3rd phone had for 15 mins (i didnt even leave the store before i went back to the desk)

Cons: Front display doesent have the 5 way kep pad anymore.

Summary: I have had this phone for a little while Verizon gave me this phone for free since my env broke 4 times because of problems with the phones software or just other things like buttons didnt work. This phone is 10x better then the privous. If you want a cheaper phone that is great for texting and is relible its for you. It also has the best battery in a phone i have ever had. enV2=AMAZING

Overall Rating:
5 out of 5
By: Jake Albano on Wednesday, July 16, 2008
From: Medford, NJ (United States)
Experience: 1 Weeks
Pros: -QWERTY Keyboard is so easy to text on- not too big not to small
-Numbers on front very easy to dial, unlike regular env.
-Small screen on front is great. They made it more simple and not a full function screen like they did with the first env. All the quick features you need are great and right there.
-Relatively small, yet not too small (I like how you can actually know it's there, rather than thinking you lost it every ten seconds)
-Very durable and feels durable
-All keys are

Cons: -No left/right arrow keys on front, kind of awkard, but no big deal. Anything you'd really need to do with them you would open the phone up anyway.
-Requires special headphones to listen to music (this is common in phones, I don't know of a phone besides the iPhone where this isn't true)
-Kind of looks like a calculator (but I think it is very nice looking still)
-No flash on camera

Summary: Highly recommend it. Great phone with tons of cool features. You can see a lot of them on youtube by searching "env2". Very nice feel and sound quality.
Anybody who is considering this- GET IT.
Touch screen phones and any phone with the MAIN screen on front just become too hard to read due to scratches and smudges. Touch screen phones are not to the point where they are great to use. They still need some quirks worked out. I believe by the time you need a new phone (2 years, maybe one year) they will have mastered touch screen phones and they will be the best. For now, phones like the env2 are the best!

I've had it for a week, using it and listening to music, and I've charged it maybe 2 times

Pros: Great Keyboard, Lightweight, voice recording, 2.0 camera & video, larger screen than orignal enV

Cons: External screen has no left or right buttons

I would recommend this phone for any person who would appreciate all of its wonderful features!
