LG Decoy VX8610 Cell Phone
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...The LatestOverall Rating: By: Laura Raoch on Saturday, October 11, 2008From: Cody, WY (United States) Experience: 3 Months Pros: Slides easily. Easy to 'clean' (i.e.-wipe of after my son spills his juice). Easy to navigate with a little practice. Clean design. Classy (two-toned). Great Bluetooth. Connects easily to a computer and transfers files quickly. Sturdy. Easy side navigation buttons. Camera design-works open, works closed, can EDIT pictures (i.e.-zoom, crop, and rotate), four different 'colors'-for lack of better word-sepia, black&white, aqua, normal, music player that connects to your computer via Bluetooth and tCons: Without practice, the center button-more a 'joystick' in actual-is difficult and touchy to use. But my son can use it, and he's four. The Bluetooth head set, if not attached to the phone in between use loses battery life quickly. Slightly 'clunky.'Summary: I almost took this phone back because of it's clunky feel, but after i got used to it, I just think of my phone as substantial. A beautiful phone to hold, look at, or talk on, I love the way it makes me feel. (Vain, but true.) I would buy this phone in a minute if given the chance again, but I would take more time to learn how to use it BEFORE going back to work. My Opinion of the LG DecoyOverall Rating: By: James Baker on Friday, August 29, 2008From: Madison, AL (United States) Experience: 3 Days Pros: When I buy a phone, I tend to be drawn to it's attractivness as much as how well it works. The DeCoy is a nice, attractive phone. The slide on it is moves effortless and with ease; many of the most frequently used sub-menus are either accessable while the phone is closed or just one button away. The sound coming through the ear piece is pretty good. I have no problem hearing people on the other end.Cons: When the sun is bright, it's hard to see the face. The speaker has a whistle like sound coming from it...don't know if it's just my phone or if they all are like this. When the phone is open and you are using the center button to scroll up and down, it's fairly easy to make a mistake by picking a sub-menu that you didn't choose. For example: when the slider was open and I was trying to get to get to a sub-menu and I accidentially hit directory assistance while scrolling. Now I might be facing a Summary: Overall, this is a pretty good phone. Although minor,I am still contemplating returning it for another phone because the speaker on it is not very good. I was talking with a friend through the speaker and was told that I was breaking up, although I was literally maybe two feet away from the phone. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful
Great Phone!Overall Rating: By: Collin Jones on Tuesday, July 08, 2008From: Tolland, CT (United States) Experience: 30 Days Pros: Small, great sliders, very strong and well built Comes with a Bluetooth headset!!!Cons: When outside in the sun the screen is kind of hard to seeSummary: This is by far the best phone I have ever owned! strong, great features. The sliding action is not weak feeling or loose. The bluetooth built into the back is just amazing and a great idea. you will never lose your bluetooth with this phone. Another great feature is that the bluetooth charges while connected to the phone not on a separate charger. the battery on the phone lasted the entire weekend (3 days) while camping. came back and still had battery left! Definitely would recommend this phone to any and everyone! 10 out of 10 people found this review helpful
