AT&T user review
I have never been treated so bad in my lifeBy: Jeff Johnson on Monday, August 25, 2008 From Dartmouth MA (United States) Experience: 10 Years Pros: Not many problems with service.Cons: Rude, uneducated dispicable customer service that lie and refuse to live up to an agreement that they made.Summary: I have been with AT&T/Cingular for almost ten years and have not had a problem. I am out of contract and called them to buy the Tilt phone. The rep sold me the phone for 29 dollars plus an internet plan that i had to keep for six months at 30 bucks per month. I provided my credit card number and recieved a confirmation number. About two hours later, i got a message stating that they made a mistake and I was going to be charged 150 dollars for the phone. I called back and they said it was too bad and they would call Fed-ex and have the phone stopped before I got it. I was charged the money on my card and they refuse to refund the money saying i have not returned it, although i never recieved it. They now have the phone back and i still dont have a credit. Now they say it takes two months for a credit. I cant image that if i was at a store and i bought something, and then they called me at home and told me they charged me the wrong price and i have to bring them more money. I have spoken with over twenty people who have lied to me and treated me horribly. I have never lost my temper with any of them yet they taunt me and refuse to fix the problem. I spoke with the office of the president who was just as rude but then finally said that she would give me a fifty dollar bill credit. No thanks, I switched to Verizon. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful
