Cons: The selection of phones that use a SIM card is small, meaning that you can't use most of their phones when traveling internationally.

Summary: Alltel beats all other providers at signal strength, plans, and pricing. One final thought: the provider is only as good as the phone you buy...if you buy a $0.99 phone, you'll have a $0.99 experience, but if you get something middle of the road and up, it'll be great.
