Touch Diamond: Telus Becomes First to Launch Diamond in North America$149's a nice price, but a three year contract? Ouch.
Our fancy algorithm says this stuff is related...Saturday, August 09, 2008to paul - the reason why its not "prism designed" is because the euorpean gsm version of the phone was modelled to be sold to that specific market ... it has a flat back for us lucky canadians - by the way its been officially announce by telua that the phone is coming out august 14th 2008 yes im going to be the first to get it with or without the three year term of 149.99 :| and 499.99 withtout :s - woooow alot of money .... anyways back to the answer lol ... it has a flat back because its more aimed towards the north american market who would find a "smartphone" - as telus refers to a pda, blackberry, palm, etc. - more efficient if it were capable of being held and gripped with ease. Hope that answers your question.
to vivek - the htc touch diamond is highly speculated to be released on september 2nd 2008 and a leaked image of sprints new line of phones confirmed it for the most part; so look forward to a september 2nd release for sure ... its coming out here in canada on august 14th so it shouldnt be too far behind in america ... its almost always a month apart for our two countries ...
your welcome you guys Sunday, July 20, 2008($149's a nice price, but a three year contract? Ouch.)
Almost phone sell with three years contract in Canada, but Telus offer a new Smartphone after 2 years. Wednesday, July 16, 2008last thing I want to buy is another Microsoft CE based smart phone.
I've enough of that crap and hope linux based Android smart phone will launch soon. For now I'll go with company with their own OS. Sunday, July 06, 2008the backplate is flat and not the diamond prism design. does anyone know why that is? is that just the cdma version ? Friday, July 04, 2008omg that's so unfair, because I have sprint. But does anyone know when the diamond is coming to sprint and do you have any idea how much it'll be? |
