  it's tricky to take this cover off a Centro, 2008-11-08
What I've found with all the hard plastic covers is that they are difficult to get off once you've gotten them on. It's very easy to put them on, fortunately.

Why, you ask, would I want to take it off? Well, for one thing, because I work in a medical field with daily contact with sick people. I not only WANT to take it off and clean it, I NEED to take the cover off and basically disinfect it. I also regularly wipe my Palm Centro down with 70% alcohol wipes (the kind used to clean your arm for drawing blood).

Also, I have a few different plastic covers like this -- one in hot pink, one in electric metallic blue -- and I like to change covers once in a while.

I've actually bought a few of these hard plastic Centro covers. The only one I had that broke was the lilac colored one -- but it broke because I dropped it. It protected the phone, fortunately! I've probably dropped my Centro four or five times since I bought it in June '08 (it's now Nov. '08) and the reason why it still works -- imo -- is because I keep both a hard plastic cover on it AND a silicon skin. (The silicon skin I chose is also lilac colored.)

So I'm pretty happy with this case. Let's face it, they are all made very cheaply out of plastic. The question is, do they protect your phone and look attractive? In this case, yes. I have gotten compliments and questions from total strangers when they saw me using my phone with this cover (and the lilac-colored silicon skin) on it.

Note: I never use the belt clips with these types of hard plastic covers, so I can't review that aspect of it. As a flat cover, though, it's fine.

When I decided to purchuse this case for my new phone, I did so on the basis that it said it was sturdy and protective. Add it was......for the week I had it before it broke!
