  Nice and compact, 2008-09-01
This unit is easier to store in my travel bag than the charger that came with the phone, but it has a few minor oddities. When it is done charging the phone, the LED light on the charger starts dimming/pulsing. This doesn't look like normal operation for an LED. Also, this charger seems to generate a lot of interference for TV's and radios that I don't get with the Siemens charger. Even with those issues, it has worked reliably for me.

A travel charger is NOT the same as the charger that comes with the phone. The factory charger monitors the charge of the battery and will trickle charge it to maximum capacity. The travel charger is a dumb charger that just charges until a certain voltage is initially acheived. Consequently, it will never fully charge the battery and you will not get maximum hours of use.
