Our dog chewed up the original pouch that came with my wife's BB Curve (fortunately the phone was not in the pouch at the time) and I found this as a replacement. This is exactly the same as the original pouch, and my wife is quite happy with it - we both prefer the pouch style cases to skin types or ones with belt clips.

This case is perfect for carrying my blackberry in my pocket when I am at work. It definitely protects the screen from getting scratched. I don't know how many times I have sat on it or dropped it and the phone is perfectly protected. I would recommend this to anyone if you want your phone in your pocket or purse.

I've had to replace my BB case twice so far because my puppies chewed it (while it was off the blackberry, thankfully). This is a standard case and a good replacement.

This case is fairly nice and it fits in your pocket pretty well...it is superior to the clip style holster which I also ordered. The fit can be a little snug at times which prevents you from easily sliding it out (I usually have to use two hands). The headset jack and charger port are blocked...it would be nice if these were available without having to remove the phone.
