This battery works fine, just like original equipment. It is great to have a spare on hand. It seems to hold its charge while being held in reserve quite well.  Not exactly new, 2008-12-17
The battery was made about 2.5 years ago. From what I've read, the expected shelf life of a Li-Ion battery is only 2-3 years. I'll be surprised if it last a year. For now, it works great. New? Yeah Right!!!, 2008-12-16
Isn't there an option to give zero stars?!?! I bought this battery for my wife's phone whose original battery would not hold a charge. When buying it through Amazon.com VibeCellular claims that the battery is new and packaged. When I received the battery it was not packaged, not new and damaged to a point where it took some time just to get it into the phone. Do not buy from these liars and cheats. This battery was bought to replace the old battery which was not holding it's charge. It has worked like a charm since I bought it (about 2 months ago) lousy batteries!, 2008-11-30
After only six days of use the battery died and would not take a charge. Dont buy this!!!!!!
